The Malone Family

There are five Malone siblings - Alicia, Matt, Mack, Tonya and Todd. All have appeared on S&S at one time but the men have been featured (the female siblings live in their hometown of Erie, PA). Matt, the oldest son returned from a 15 year absence, but was later revealed to be an imposter leaving the family wondering about the real Matt, who only recently was found alive. Mack has struggled with marital problems with his wife, Raven. Youngest son, Todd, died in a car accident in late 2005. Bobby Tucker, their nephew, is the son of Alicia, and is currently working as an Assistant in the Photography Department at Manhattan Monthly.

The Richards Family

There are three Richards sisters - Connie, Raven and Hannah. Their mother, Virginia, lives in Arizona, and their father has passed away. Connie is a single mother and business lawyer. Raven is married to Mack Malone and a reporter for Manhattan Monthly Magazine. Hannah dated Todd Malone until he died and works as Charlie Dean's personal assistant while dreaming of an acting career. Connie's 19 year old son, Clint, just started class at Hunter College, and is in love with his best friend, Dara Madison.

The Jones Family

The three Jones siblings were not all raised together. Adriana was kidnapped when she was five and raised by Ray and Margie Cummings. In 2003, Adriana, a mental patient, was reunited with her sister, Alexandra, who is a reporter for Manhattan Monthly. Adriana was released from the Westside Hospital Psych Ward and started a new life. She recently married Chuck Landers. Their younger brother, Andrew, had a rocky marriage to socialite Larissa Davies, which resulted in a son, Addison, that he signed away his rights to for $500,000. Adriana was recently reunited with her daughter, Zoey, who was given away by her father. Alexandra reunited with the daughter she gave up for adoption, Serena, only to lose her in the Westside Hospital fire.

The Walker Family

Agnes and Ron walker had two children, Ellie and Rex. Ellie's biological father was actually rapist, William Burton, the brother of Nurse Wanda Grimm. Ellie worked for Charlie Dean at TM Productions until a heroin binge (and ill-fated marriage) that left her brian damaged and on a feeding tube. After several months, Ellie's family removed the feeding tube and she died. Rex is a Feature Editor for Manhattan Monthly and recently married his partner, Perry, in Canada. The two of them adopted Zoey's long-lost nephew, Gregory.

The Landers Family

Chuck Landers moved to New York from Alabama in his 20s. Little did he know that one day he'd find out he had not one, but two daughters, by two different women around the same time. Chuck is now living with formerly troubled daughter, Dara, and recently found out that spoiled brat, Stacey Gamage, is also his child with the deceased Zelda Jessup, Zoey's sister. Chuck blurted out the truth to Stacey who is still reeling from that news and her 2006 kidnapping and rape. Chuck just married Adriana Jones after being pursued by Stacey's adoptive mother, Rosalyn Gamage.

Manhattan Monthly

Blake Whitney is the Editor-in-Chief for this trendy Manhattan magazine. Perry Walker is the Creative Director and his husband, Rex Walker, is a Features Editor. Other Features Editors include long-time rivals Alexandra Jones and Raven Malone. Casey Sanders manages the Feature Editors. Intern Henry Adler, who is currently sleeping with Blake, also stirs the pot. John Paul Hunter is the Fashion Editor. Bobby Tucker is working as an assistant in the Photo Lab.
